About
Artists and even illustrators have often cultivated relationships with nature. Looking at various works will help us delve deeper into their world, a place in which many creative minds were able to draw, paint or photograph their sensory and visual connection with nature. In this course, we will look at the work of Andy Goldsworthy, Olafur Eliasson and Simon Beck. Our exploration of two works per week will enable us to discuss and describe what we see – the symbolism and use of art elements and principles, how the artist has portrayed nature, how they have used a variety of techniques and personal interpretation and inspiration that is gained from self-reflection and conversations online.

This course enables children to interact in dialogue and conversation during the session. We recommend that participants have access to an online camera and also their chosen art materials (medium) paint, cardboard, canvas etc. present with them, as we will develop collectively online a masterpiece to be finished at the end of the last week.
